Question
Video - Adobe Flash Player
Answer
Dear
Thank you for contacting the IBM Global Support Center. It appears the issue you are experiencing may be caused by Adobe Flash Player. You may not have the most current version of the Adobe Flash Player program required to run the video test. To install the current version of Adobe Flash Player on your computer please following the below steps:
1. Using the browser you want to install Adobe Flash Player into go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
The website will recognize your browser and operating system and offer you the correct download installer for your needs.
Note: in some browsers they may offer to download Google Chrome and/or McAfee Security Scan Plus. It is NOT required to install these please uncheck the box.
2. Click the yellow "Download now" button. Save the file when prompted. Generally it will save to the Downloads folder specifically for your browser unless you've configured downloads to save to a different location.?
3. Open the installer. Locate the "AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_" file on your drive and double-click to open it.?
4. Run the installer. When the Adobe Flash Player disk image loads double-click the "Install Adobe Flash Player" icon in the window.?
5. Accept the warning. A popup dialog will ask if you're certain you can trust content downloaded from Adobe. Since they're a reputable company it's safe to click "Open."
6. Sign in. On a Mac you'll be required to sign in as admin with your username and password. Do so and then click "OK" to continue.?
7. Install Adobe Flash Player. A progress bar will show you the status of the installation. When it is complete click the "Finish" button.?
If you have any other questions please feel free to contact our helpdesk via telephone at 1-855-306-1467 or via email to AssessSupport@us.ibm.com?for support. Have a great day!
Sincerely
