How to Configure Chat Notifications
Answer
You can configure the Chat module to send notifications to a CSR when a chat request is assigned. While there are multiple options available the best practice is to use only Audible Notifications and Visual Notifications under Your Chats.
Your Chats
- Audible Notification: Click the Yes radio button to play an audio notification whenever a chat request is assigned to a CSR. You can also choose to play an audio notification whenever a customer enters a message in live chat.
- Visual Notification: Click the Yes radio button to display a pop-up notification whenever a chat request is assigned to a CSR.
