Question & Answer
Question
How to connect dedicated/internal Bluemix with eAPIm Gateways?
Answer
We have the following host names in dedicated Bluemix to connect to gateways of Enterprise APIm namely w3-dev.api.ibm.com w3.api.ibm.com?api-gw2.innovate.ibm.com and 9.55.51.160.
(Note: if you use w3ibm.mybluemix.net and see "502 Bad Gateway".? That means the connection that Ryan Dejana created is not working.)
1) Gateway to eAPIm Internal production development platform (for development and test environments): eapim-dev.w3ibm.mybluemix.net.? That is? https://eapim-dev.w3ibm.mybluemix.net/common/development/apim/about is the same as?https://w3-dev.api.ibm.com/common/development/apim/about
2) Gateway to eAPIm Internal production runtime platform (for stage and run environments):?eapim.w3ibm.mybluemix.net.? That is https://eapim.w3ibm.mybluemix.net/common/run/apim/about. is the same as https://w3.api.ibm.com/common/run/apim/about
3) Gateway to eAPIm sb2/gw2 ("next"): apim-edu-next.w3ibm.mybluemix.net.? That is https://apim-edu-next.w3ibm.mybluemix.net/edu/development/ddc/test/which is the same as https://api-gw2.innovate.ibm.com/edu/development/ddc/test/which
4) Gateway to eAPIm 159/160 ("old"): apim-edu-old.w3ibm.mybluemix.net.? That is https://apim-edu-old.w3ibm.mybluemix.net/edu/development/ddc/test/which is the same as https://9.55.51.160/edu/development/ddc/test/which
5) Depends on how it is configured "apim-edu.w3ibm.mybluemix.net" can point to either gw2 or 160.? You can use the following URL to tell: https://apim-edu.w3ibm.mybluemix.net/edu/development/ddc/test/which? And as of today 2015-07-08 it is pointing to APIm 160.
