Visitor Registration Fields
Key Details:
- Included as part of the Multichannel Import Bundle which includes 3 solutions: Data Extensions Multichannel and Visitor Registration Fields.
- The Visitor Registration Fields Import Solution provides the opportunity to import legacy customer attribute data to help create a richer visitor profile (Age gender income etc).
- Can import pre-set data fields? (age gender income) and up to 50 ?offline? attributes
Configuration of the Visitor Registration Field Import involves:
- Configuration of settings: Including setting SFTP details
- Creating the template: Selecting the delimiter (comma tab or pipe) and up to 50 fields for importing (?Date ID? and ?Registration ID? are preconfigured fields which cannot be amended)
- Populating template & Uploading: Downloading the newly created template and populating it with the visitor data as per the fields selected in the template before uploading via the Import tool
Reporting:
Imported data will be processed overnight and available for reporting within Explore the next day.
- Aliasing: An administrator will need to apply an alias (meaningful name) to each attribute field that has been sent within the import file.?
- Explore Reporting: You can now select the imported and aliased field as a ?display column?.
[E.g. The business can now run Explore reports bringing in 2 imported attributes along with ?Registration ID? as display columns (maximum of 3 display columns permitted in a Flat list report)
Example below would provide you with the age and gender of each recognised Registration ID
Business Value:
- By creating a richer profile for each customer a business can gain deeper insight into purchasing behaviors product popularity spending habits and marketing effectiveness for specific segments of their customer base.
- Importing in a list of the ?loyalty card numbers? for each customer email address (which is also collected as the Registration ID) allowing the business to create a richer picture of all purchases made by this single customer to help reward loyalty and spend.
