How often are the IBM Digital Analytics configuration files updated?

Question & Answer

Question

How often are the IBM Digital Analytics configuration files updated?

Answer

If using HTTP analysing software, for example, Mozilla Firebug, Chrome Dev tools or similar, you may see the following file request being called on your site pages:

"http://libs.coremetrics.com/configs/XXXXXXXX.js" (where XXXXXXXX = Client ID).

Example content from this file may be returned as follows:?

"coremetrics.cmUpdateConfig({"at":false,"io":false,"ia":false,"ddx":{"version":3, "w3cEnabled":true}}); coremetrics.cmLoad();"
Where: ?"io" = Product Recommendations, "ia" = Impression Attribution, "at" = AdTarget, "ddx" = Digital Data Exchange and product is enabled ":true" or ":false"

The /configs/ files are typically modified whenever a product is activated or deactivated, either as a result of contract changes or via a request to IBM Digital Analytics Support.?

Or, if additional entries were to be added to /configs/ files on account of new IBM Digital Analytics product applications to be released. However both of these events are uncommon.
