Fix: Unable to Stop / Start the Scanner program EDIX290 before and after databank maintenance. (2304)

Symptom

Unable to Stop / Start the Scanner program EDIX290 before and after databank maintenance.
Need a transaction to Stop EDID
Need a transaction to Start EDID


Resolving the problem

Install fix (Enhancement) M14510 for programs EDIX000 and EDIX290 compiled 01/07/1999

To stop EDID before maintenance is done perform transaction 'EDID EDIX250 S'.

To start EDID after maintenance is done perform transaction 'EDID EDIX250'.

Can be invoked either as on-line CICS transactions or via a batch job that starts the transaction as a console command.
