FAQ: Does functionality exist that will count the number of segments created by a map? (SCI84020)

Answer

Yes. The Use Accumulator Standard Rule can be used or an Extended Rule can be used. For the Extended Rule an integer variable has to be created and then on a field in each segment this variable should be incremented by 1. The variable can then be assigned to the field that needs to display the number of segments.
