How to map a 9 digit zip code with the "-" removed on inbound processing GENTRAN:Server for UNIX (2457)

Answer

Mapping needs to be done in expert mode
1. Select Settings
2. Preferences
3. Check Expert mode mapping instructions and press OK
4. Edit mapping instruction that contains zip code mapping
5. Remove existing mapping instruction for the zip code
6. Add the following:
MAP portion of text Sxx starting at position 1 for 5 characters; & portion of text Sxx starting at position 7 for 4 characters; TO Dxx
7. Reset Mapping Mode to Standard mode by going into Preferences and uncheck Expert mode mapping.
