Problem(Abstract)
If SAP errors after the error all new transaction take much longer to process
Symptom
If an IDoc call is executed during SAP Maintenance (SAP User is locked) then all subsequent IDoc calls after unlocking the User again are delayed for the time configured in <SoftLimitDelay>. Reason is a delay time in the SAP Connection Pool during getting a free connection.
After a SAP instance restart execution time drops back to a few milliseconds again.
Error MessageIn the log extraction below see the SAP Connection Pool delays the creation of a second parallel connection request by the ?Soft Limit Delay Time? (60 seconds):
