PO Short

Whenever a PO is placed suppliers send an ASN (Advanced ShipmentNotice) against the Purchase Order. When the buyer receives the ASNin less quantity than ordered the PO Short alert is raised. Thisalert is also raised if the items are not fully shipped within thetolerance limit of the expected ship date. The allowable discrepancyin the ASN quantity and shipment date is configurable for by the buyerorganization for the suppliers.

Trigger Criteria for Raising the PO Short Alert

Thesystem raises this alert when the quantity specified in the ASN receivedby the buyer is less than the requested quantity for any order line.

Thisalert is raised at the order header level.
