About this task
Before your setup appointment you must:
Procedure
- Obtain and install all appropriate hardware and softwareneeded to access Sterling B2B CollaborationNetworkincluding:
- Computer that supports one of the protocols that Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork supports
- Communications protocol package (modem and software) that emulatesone of the supported protocols
- Telephone line and modem or internet access
- EDI translator or B2B integration broker
- Applications link
- Create an EDI ID.
- To confirm your Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork servicesand delivery needs contact your IBM? account executive.

Delays can occur if you do not completethe pre-setup steps. If you have questions about any of the pre-setuprequirements contact your IBM account executiveto discuss them before your appointment.
