About this task

You can use the following methods to check that your datawas delivered.

Procedure

  1. Use Sterling Document Tracking in Sterling Customer Center. For more information see Tracking Your Documents Online.
  2. Pick up data from your mailslots. The data may includefunctional acknowledgments showing that your business partner receivedyour functional group data.
  3. Check any of the following reports:
    • Transmission Confirmation Report (020). You can verify that Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork receivedthe batch and you can check for transmission error messages.
    • Daily Processing Summary Report (070). You can verify the dateand time that your business partner picked up the data from a Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork mailbox.
    • On-demand Mailslot Status Report (060). You can verify which interchangesyour business partner picked up.
    Note: If your business partner is not a Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork customerthe date and time shown relate to when Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork sentthe data to the network of your business partner. After Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork sendsthe data to another network Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork cannotdetect when your business partner picks up the data from a mailboxon the other network.
  4. Check reports from your EDI translator application to determinewhich functional groups your business partner has not acknowledged.
