$$Directory Report?Data Format

The $$DIRECTORY Output Report has no heading and is madeup of 80-character (80-byte) records. Although it is available indata format only it is readable. Each record (line) of the $$DIRECTORYOutput Report contains information about a single batch.

Definitions

The fieldsappear in the following order from left to right. Some fields containdifferent information depending on whether you sent or received thebatch.

MAILSLOT ID

Mailslot ID of the mailslot that the reportis about. This field is not labeled.

One of the following depending on the batchtype:
  • Batch you sent (inbound batch number)
  • Batch you received (outbound batch number)

    Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork assignsdifferent batch numbers to distinguish the batch sent by the senderfrom the batch delivered to the receiver.

CT=

Number of blocks in the batch you sent.

BID=
One of the following depending on the batchtype:
  • Batch you sent. The mailslot password you specified when you sentthe data using the $$ADD command BATCHID parameter.
  • Batch you received. Includes the following fields in this ordernot separated by blanks:

    Inbound batch number identifying the batch.This seven-digit number is in positions 1-7 of the field.

    Interchangesequence number specifying the interchange sequence within this batch.For example 0005 specifies the fifth interchange. This four-digitnumber is in positions 8-11 of the field.

    Functional group sequencenumber specifying the functional group sequence within the interchange.For example 0002 specifies the second functional group. This four-digitnumber is in positions 12-15 of the field.

    Filler of nine zerosor blanks in positions 16-24 of the field.

PROCESSING
TIME

Time the batch was processed in HHMM 24-hourformat Eastern time. For example 1424 is 2:24 p.m.

PROCESSING
DATE

Date the interchange was processed in YYDDDformat where YY is the last two digits of the calendar year and DDDis the consecutive day of the year. For example 06100 representsthe 100th day of 2006.

BATCH STATUS CODES

Processing status Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork hasassigned to the interchange so far. Up to 11 status codes can display.For more information see BatchStatus Codes .

Last record of the $$DIRECTORY Output Report.
