You access both the ad hoc reporting system and standardreports from the Reporting module in Sterling TMS. To open theReporting module click Reporting at the topof the main Sterling TMS window.

TheReporting page lists the reporting tools that are available to you.Depending on your user role you can access the following reportingfeatures:

Existing Reports

Opens the Business Objects reporting portal where you canview standard Sterling TMS reportssuch as data extracts.

New Reports

Opens Cognos? Connectionwhere you can view and run reports and queries:

• Sterling TMS providesstandard reports that answer common shipping and cost performancequestions.
• Report authors in your organization can develop custom reportsand publish them for you to use.

Report Studio

Opens Cognos ReportStudio which your organization can use to develop complex reportingsolutions.

To access Report Studio you must be assigned tothe Report Author role in Sterling TMS.

Query Studio

Opens Cognos QueryStudio which your organization can use to develop ad hoc reportsand publish them for other users to view.

To access Query Studioyou must be assigned to the Report Author role in Sterling TMS.
