You can use folders to organize your reports in Cognos.The following folders are available:

Standard Reports

Sterling TMS providesstandard reports that users can run in Cognos Connection.

Forexample Execution users can view Execution Performance reports thatmeasure their carrier?s on-time and status compliance. Freight Paymentusers can run Cost Performance reports that measure shipping costs.

Dashboards

Shippers can use dashboards to monitor carrier performance andcompare their carriers against network benchmarks for all carriersin the Sterling TMS network.

Shipper Folders

Sterling TMS providesa standard folder for each shipper that is set up to use Cognos:

• Report authors can store custom reports in this folder for theirusers to access.
• Report administrators can create new folders within this folder.

When a shipper first uses Cognos this folder is empty

Data Warehouse

This folder displays the dimensions facts attributes andother elements of the Sterling TMS data marts.Report authors can use these elements as building blocks to developcustom queries and reports.

Custom Folders

Each shipper organization can assign one user as the reportadministrator. Administrators can create new folders in their defaultshipper folder:

• Report authors can store custom reports in these folders.
• Users can view and run reports in these folders.

My Folders

Each Cognos user can save reports to the My Folders area.

Forexample a reporting user can save a report view in MyFolders and then set up a schedule to run the report view.
