Planner: Traffic view
Use the Planner: Traffic viewto monitor and analyze historical traffic data archived in the IBM? Traffic Information Hub database. Use thisview to see summary reports of historical traffic flow and performanceof the traffic network.
The Planner: Traffic viewprovides geographical visualization and summary reports of historicalinformation of the traffic network useful for:
- Identifying patterns and trends in traffic flow and performance
- Analyzing historical traffic data on a specific road regionevent device or level
- Identifying repeat congestion problems
- Carrying out detailed causal analysis
- Viewing graphical reports summarizing historical traffic speedvolume and events
The Planner: Traffic viewcontains the following portlets which you can think of as independentsections of the page that cooperate with one another.

| Historical Traffic Conditions | The starting point for viewing historical trafficdata allowing you to interact with the Planner: Traffic view.It contains a geographical information system (GIS) map of the trafficnetwork which provides a visual representation of historical trafficdata archived by the IBM Traffic Information Hub. |
| Historical Traffic Conditions - Details | A table containing categorized information abouthistorical traffic performance levels that are currently being monitoredon the map in the Historical Traffic Conditions portlet. |
| Traffic Flow - Past 30 days | A graphical report that shows the traffic flowvolume of the network during the past 30 days. You can modify thetraffic congestion graph to present the historical traffic volumetotal or the average speed of a selected road link. You can chooseto view a report showing the historical traffic data for the last30 days or for the past hour. |
| Traffic Custom Reports | Displays a list of all the reports availablein the IBM Intelligent Transportation solution.Using the reports action tool bar you can run modify save or exportthe reports from this portlet. |
For help usingeach portlet click the upper right corner of the portlet and select Help fromthe menu displayed.
To resize a portletclick the upper right corner of the portlet and select options fromthe menu that is displayed as follows:
- To expand the portlet to fill the page click Maximize.
- To hide the portlet contents other than its title bar click Minimize.
- To restore a minimized or maximized portlet to its default viewclick Restore.
