A comma-separated value (CSV) file defining the locationsof crews is loaded into IBM? Work Optimization for Water Utilities with a script.

1. Create the CSV filecontaining the location data in therequired format .
2. On the IBM Intelligent Operations Center database serverrun the select count(*) from IW_core.crew commandand note the number returned. Use this number to validatethat the script ran correctly.
3. Copy the CSV file with the work depot data to be loadedto the IBM Intelligent Operations Center event and management server.
4. On the IBM Intelligent Operations Center event and management serverrun the following command:

   crew csv_file

   Where csv_file isthe fully-qualified name of the CSV file.

   For example crew/data/crew_20110922.csv Ignore the returnedJMS exception.
5. Check the /opt/IBM/iss/intelligentWater/workOptimization/al/logs/ibmdi.log filefor any errors.
6. Validate that the crew data was correctly loaded by runningthe following statement on the IBM Intelligent Operations Center database server.

   select count(*) from IW_core.crew

   The number returnedshould be higher than the number returned in step 2. If thescript completed without an error but the number of elements in theusage table has not changed there is probably a problem with theformat of the CSV file.
