Add Location - Work Week Calendar
Use the Work Week Calendar page to define the daily schedulefor this location. Some organizations refer to this calendar as the dispatchingcalendar or front-office calendar. By default the workweek calendar uses the same schedule as the working calendar for yourorganization. You set up the working calendar in Step 1 of ShipperConfiguration.
When you are done defining the location scheduleyou have the following options:
- Click Continue to define a location contactappointment restrictions and other settings.
- Click Back to return to the previous page.
- Click Cancel to exit without saving yourlocation profile.
Defining the Location Work Week
You can define the daily schedulefor this location. Sterling TMS automaticallyuses the time zone for this location when it calculates the locationschedule. For example a location in Baltimore would show as beingopen 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. A location in Chicago would show as beingopen 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.
To specify that the location is closedfor a day set the times to dashes:

Selecting Location Holidays
Use the followingbuttons on the Work Week Calendar page to add or remove a locationholiday:
- Add
Opens the Add Holiday page where you specify a date that thislocation is closed.
- Remove
Deletes a holiday that you defined for this location.
