Defining Accessorials

About this task

An accessorial charge is a fee for services performed aboveand beyond hauling the load. You can define these charges in the Accessorialsstep of Contract Configuration and then assignthem to your contracts.

Procedure

To define accessorial charges in Sterling TMS follow thesesteps:

  1. Click EditAccount > Step 7: Contracts. The Set Up Contracts pageopens.
  2. Select Accessorials and click View/SetUp. The Set Up Accessorials pageopens.
  3. Click Add to define each accessorialyou want to use in Sterling TMS.
  4. When you are finished click Done toreturn to the Set Up Contracts page.
  5. Assign the accessorial charges to your contracts sectionsand lanes.
