Carrier Invoice Workbench
Sometimes a carrier does not have the correct SID numberfor a load. The carrier then creates invoices using the Bill of Ladingnumber. As a result when the carrier submits freight charges SterlingTMS cannot match the invoice to a shipment. You can use the CarrierInvoice workbench to search for unassigned carrier invoices and manuallyassign the invoice to a shipment.
Shipper and carriers can access the Carrier Invoice workbench:
- Both shippers and carriers can search for invoices that are notassociated with shipments and assign a shipment to an unassignedinvoice.
- Carriers can only search for shipments for which they are thecarrier.
