The IBM? SterlingTransportation Management System (Sterling TMS) allows shipperorganizations to plan and track their freight for the entire productlife cycle from the procurement stage through the delivery to theircustomers.

A shipper can allow users from your customer organization to logon to Sterling TMS totrack freight that is being delivered to your distribution centersor other facilities.

When you log on to Sterling TMS the CustomerPortal opens. You can perform these tasks:

  • Search and display shipments that are being delivered to yourorganization. For example you can search for all shipments that havethe same delivery date.
  • View and print item-level information about shipments and orders.

A customer organization is not set up in Sterling TMS as a separateaccount. Customer users log on as a user within the Sterling TMS shipper organization.
