Tender Notification Parameters
Carriers can use Tender Notification Parameters to specify howeach shipper submits shipment tenders to their organization.
The Tender Notification Parameters feature gives you great flexibilityover how you manage the tendering process. For each shipper you canset up different tender notification rules based on the followingattributes:
- Mode
- Shipping lane
- Other attributes such as equipment type or movement type
For example you might want some shippers to send you EDI 211 transactionsfor LTL shipments and other shippers to send you EDI 204 transactionsfor LTL shipments.
