Removing Alerts

About this task

You can remove an alert after you have viewed it and nolonger want it.

Procedure

  1. Select the shipment order or other entry in SterlingTMS that contains the alert.
  2. Click Notes/History to open theNotes/History page.
  3. Open the Alerts tab to view thealert details.
  4. Select the alert and click Remove.
    Notes:
    • Removing an alert removes it from the Alerts tabof the Notes/History page. You can still view the alert on the History tab.
    • When you remove an alert you are only deleting it from your view.Other users in your organization can still view the alert.
    • When a shipper removes an alert it does not delete the alertfor the carrier. When a carrier removes an alert it does not deleteit for the shipper.
