I have correctly added new categories to my CDF and they are not my reports. Why is that?

Answer

This will typically occur when a category is being added to a hierarchy established from a previous CDF.? Each time a new category is added and needs to roll up under an existing hierarchy, the entire hierarchy will need to be included in the CDF where the new category is being introduced.? When a CDF is picked up for processing, the file contents?are processed into a temporary table and the hierarchies traced while the file is also checked for invalid characters.? Once the hierarchy is traced and there are no errors, the?content will be loaded into your database.? If the hierarchy is not complete during this time, the rows will not be updated.? Please note this is done independent of any existing category structure and is the reason the hierarchy needs to be included if there are updates to child categories.
