Problem
Sybase Agent Start Failed with below error. root #./SybaseAgent.sh start # SybaseAgent started. root #init_buffers : ioctl : No such device or address Note : During installation, customer wanted us to provide root as user name for Sybase login in ?PanacesAgnetInstaller.prop? as they start Sybase using root also Installation had no issues, on agent start getting error
Symptom
Sybase Agent issues fixed by removing "SU" in the SybaseAgent.sh, as su is blocked in Customer Environment.
