Troubleshooting
Problem
If an older version of the VMware agent is being upgraded to IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Virtual Environment: ITMfVE 7.2.0.4, it uses the version 6 JRE which is no longer supported. If the agent installation is fresh or clean, then issue does not occur.
Symptom
Agents pointing to the VMware vCenter versions above 5.5 and 6.x may fail to establish a connection. Sometimes the agent may throw SSL hand shake error during a connection attempt.
