Abstract

Fix Pack 2 for WebSphere Service Registry and Repository V8.5.6

Download Description

This is the fifth maintenance release for WebSphere Service Registry and Repository V8.5 which was initially released in April 2014. This fix pack brings the WSRR version up to V8.5.6.2.

This fix pack can be applied directly onto V8.5.0, V8.5.5 and V8.5.6 systems

Ensure that your environment meets the requirements specified in the V8.5 system requirements document: System Requirements.

Note that this version of WSRR adds support for running on a Java 8.0 SDK. See the following page for details on how to install this SDK: Installing and uninstalling SDK Java Technology Edition Version 8.0 on distributed operating systems.

Installation Instructions

WebSphere Service Registry and Repository V8.5.6 Fix Pack 2 is now available from IBM Installation Manager. See the link below for instructions on how to apply the update on systems both with and without internet access.

If your WebSphere Service Registry and Repository server does not have access to the Internet, you can download the IBM Installation Manager repository from the Download Package section.

Users on z/OS should now use IBM Installation Manager to apply maintenance to WebSphere Service Registry and Repository. A Z specific Installation Manager repository is available on Fix Central. See the link on the Download package section.
