Abstract
Support for viewing app installation status and canceling app installation in Windows App Catalog

MaaS360 allows users to view all the stages of the app installation on Windows App Catalog. MaaS360 also provides an option to cancel the installation, just in case end-users no longer want to download the app.
The various stages of the app installation in MaaS360 Windows App Catalog are shown in the following table:
| Installation Status | Description |
| Checking | MaaS360 checks whether the app already exists in App Catalog. |
| Pending Download, Downloading | MaaS360 downloads the app. |
| Cancelling | MaaS360 averts the installation if the download is canceled. |
| Pending Install, Installing | MaaS360 installs the app on the device if the download is successful. |
| Installed | MaaS360 successfully installed the app on the device. |
Note: MaaS360 supports various stages of installation for MSI, EXE, Scripts, and downloadable files.
Avert app installation
After the app installation is initiated, end-users can manually avert the installation when the app is in the Pending Download, Downloading, and Pending Install phases.
Note: The app installation cannot be averted after the app is downloaded.
To cancel the app download,
- Tap cancel (x) icon next to the download progress bar.

Result: The status of the app installation is changed to Cancelling and the installation is averted.
