Summary

Support for uploading multiple Mobile configs from iOS and macOS policy settings

Steps

MaaS360 extends support to import multiple MobileConfig files by using policy settings. The MobileConfig files are used to customize various configurations in iOS and macOS devices. With capability to import more MobileConfig files, you can customize various configurations in these files and apply the relevant MobileConifg file on the device.

Note: From 10.69 release, "Import Settings Created in iPCU' in iOS policy, "Import Custom Settings" in macOS policy, and other occurrences of iPCU are referred by the term MobileConfig in the MaaS360 portal.

Uploading MobileConfig file from policy settings

Pre-requisite: To apply MobileConfig settings for an iOS policy, perform the following actions: From Setup > Services > Mobile Device Management, select Import iPhone Configuration Utility Settings. After enabling, the settings is not shown in the Services page.

Note: The action is not required for using MobileConfig settings in macOS policy. The setting is available by default in macOS policy.
