DESCRIPTION: IBM WebSphere Application Server is vulnerable to a XML External Entity Injection (XXE) attack when processing XML data. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to expose sensitive information or consume memory resources.

This vulnerability affects the following versions and releases of IBM WebSphere Application Server:
- Version 9.0
The recommended solution is to apply the interim fix, Fix Pack or PTF containing the APAR for each named product as soon as practical.
For WebSphere Application Server traditional:
For V126.96.36.199 through 188.8.131.52:
· Upgrade to minimal fix pack levels as required by interim fix and then apply Interim Fix PH04192
· Apply Fix Pack 184.108.40.206 or later.
