Problem
Multiple notification emails or BPM workflows are launched based on the same event
Symptom
In a multinode environment there are chances that the CommonEventBackgroundProcess gets started on several of the nodes, while it should run on only one of them. As a consequence, CEF events get processed multiple times. Depending on the rules configured in Subscription Manager this means that multiple notification emails get sent or multiple BPM processes get launched for the same event.
