Problems in filtering items in Datacap Desktop Job Monitor UI

Troubleshooting

Problem

In Desktop Job Monitor UI, when you filter items from the Filter drop-down list and enter partial values in the By field, in some cases, it returns data set with exact match and does not return the data set with partial match. Also, in some other cases, it does not return any data set with exact match or partial match.

Case 1: The following items in the Filter drop-down list do not work if you enter partial values:

  • Batch ID
  • Job Time
  • DCO File

For example, suppose you have two records with Job Time value "7" and "27". If you select Job Time from the Filter drop-down list and then type a partial value in the By field (such as, "7" instead of "27"), the data set with exact match "7" is returned and the data set with data "27" is not returned.

Case 2: The following items in the Filter drop-down list when filtered do not work to return any data set:

  • Job Start
  • Task Start
  • Operator
  • Station
