Vulnerability Details
CVEID: CVE-2026-104851
DESCRIPTION: fsspec is a specification and Python implementation framework for filesystem interfaces. From 0.9.0 until 2026.6.0, fsspec.implementations.reference.ReferenceFileSystem evaluates fields from Kerchunk reference JSON documents through unrestricted jinja2.Template(...).render(...) calls in _process_references1._render_jinja, _process_templates, and _process_gen in fsspec/implementations/reference.py. A document supplied inline or fetched from an attacker-controlled URL can provide template expressions that execute Python code when the reference filesystem is opened, including through consumers such as xarray, before referenced data is read. The _process_gen path is reached whenever a document includes a gen array, while the other paths depend on template-related options and values. This issue is fixed in version 2026.6.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-7009
DESCRIPTION: When curl is told to use the Certificate Status Request TLS extension, often
referred to as *OCSP stapling*, to verify that the server certificate is
valid, it fails to detect OCSP problems and instead wrongly consider the
response as fine.
CWE: CWE-295: Improper Certificate Validation

CVEID: CVE-2026-11352
DESCRIPTION: An issue in curl’s QUIC UDP receive function allows a malicious HTTP/3 server
to trigger a remote denial of service against a curl or libcurl client.
Because the helper function discards zero-length UDP datagrams before counting
them toward the per-call packet budget, a connected QUIC peer can continuously
stream empty datagrams to indefinitely stall the client.
CWE: CWE-835: Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop')
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-11564
DESCRIPTION: libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequent
transfers to reuse if one of them matches the setup.
An easy handle that first uses default native CA trust can continue trusting
the native platform store after the application switches that same handle to
custom CA material for a later transfer.

CVEID: CVE-2026-11586
DESCRIPTION: By default, curl automatically responds to WebSocket PING frames. Because curl
lacks an upper bound on memory allocation for unacknowledged frames, a
malicious server can exhaust all available memory by flooding curl with rapid,
sequential PING messages.
CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling

CVEID: CVE-2026-8925
DESCRIPTION: The curl logic that works with SASL authentication could end up cleaning up
the GSASL context *twice* without clearing the pointer in between, making it
`free()` the same pointer twice.
CWE: CWE-415: Double Free
CVSS Source: CISA ADP

CVEID: CVE-2026-9080
DESCRIPTION: Calling `curl_easy_pause()` within the event-based `CURLMOPT_SOCKETFUNCTION`
callback triggers a use-after-free vulnerability, where libcurl attempts to
store a flag using a dangling struct pointer immediately after that pointer's
memory has been freed.
CWE: CWE-416: Use After Free
CVSS Source: CISA ADP

CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L)
CVEID: CVE-2026-9546
DESCRIPTION: A vulnerability in libcurl caused the HTTP `Referer:` header to persist even
when explicitly cleared. While the documentation states that passing NULL to
`CURLOPT_REFERER` suppresses the header, the option failed to clear the
internal state. As a result, the previous referrer string was erroneously
reused and sent in subsequent requests, potentially leaking sensitive
information to unintended servers.

CVEID: CVE-2026-11828
DESCRIPTION: IBM MQ could allow a remote attacker with queue manager control or man-in-the-middle access on unencrypted channels to cause a denial of service in client applications using asynchronous message consumption due to improper validation of queue name length values.
CWE: CWE-120: Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow')
CVSS Source: IBM
CVSS Base score: 5.9
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-64847
DESCRIPTION: AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. Prior to 4.14.2, AnyIO starts process-pool workers with standard error connected to a pipe that the parent never drains, even though the documented behavior redirects all three standard streams. Worker code that writes enough attacker-influenced data to sys.stderr can fill the pipe and block before returning the standard-output protocol response, causing the awaiting process-pool call to remain blocked indefinitely. Applications that run untrusted or faulty worker code capable of producing substantial standard-error output are affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2.

CVEID: CVE-2026-97687
DESCRIPTION: urllib3 is an HTTP client library for Python. From 1.26.0 until 2.8.0, the proxy_ssl_context, proxy_assert_hostname, proxy_assert_fingerprint, ssl_context, cert_reqs, verify_mode, use_forwarding_for_https=True, and CERT_NONE configuration paths fail to remain separated because target-server TLS settings are incorrectly applied to the HTTPS proxy connection. The trigger is that an application uses an HTTPS proxy and configures target-server TLS settings that must remain separate from the proxy TLS handshake, including HTTPS forwarding with target-specific identity or credentials. Applying cert_reqs=CERT_NONE can overwrite proxy_ssl_context.verify_mode in place, and the mutation persists so later connections reusing the same context may connect to the HTTPS proxy without certificate verification. The attack mechanism is that an attacker intercepts and impersonates the HTTPS proxy after the effective proxy policy accepts the attacker's certificate. The impact is that the attacker can observe or modify forwarded traffic or receive a target TLS client certificate, while CONNECT tunneling still preserves the separate end-to-end target TLS connection. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.0.
CWE: CWE-295: Improper Certificate Validation

CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-97688
DESCRIPTION: urllib3 is an HTTP client library for Python. From 2.6.2 until 2.8.0, HTTPResponse.stream and HTTPResponse.read_chunked can enter an infinite loop because the Deflate decoder retains trailing bytes as unconsumed input after reaching end-of-stream and repeatedly decodes them without progress. The issue occurs when an untrusted server sends a chunked Deflate response whose decoded body exceeds a positive finite chunk size and whose encoded body has trailing bytes, specifically a response with Transfer-Encoding: chunked and Content-Encoding: deflate, content decoding enabled, and the positive finite amt=N streaming chunk size. The attack mechanism is that a malicious server returns a compressed chunked response with trailing bytes after the Deflate stream. The impact is excessive CPU usage and a request that does not complete, and network read timeouts do not interrupt the loop because no further socket read occurs. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.0.
CWE: CWE-835: Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop')

CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L)
CVEID: CVE-2026-97689
DESCRIPTION: urllib3 is an HTTP client library for Python. From 1.10.3 until 2.8.0, the HTTPResponse.read_chunked and HTTPResponse.stream methods can allocate unbounded memory because the streaming chunk parser buffers the chunk-size field until newline or EOF without a length bound. The trigger is that a malicious server returns Transfer-Encoding: chunked followed by a very long run of bytes without a newline. The attack mechanism is that a malicious HTTP server sends a very long unterminated chunk-size line. The impact is that unbounded memory allocation can exhaust the client process. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-19499
DESCRIPTION: Calling strfmon and strfmon_l in the GNU C Library version 2.38 to 2.44 can write past the end of the caller-supplied output buffer when a conversion uses right-justified width padding.
Exploitation requires an application code path that calls strfmon or strfmon_l with right-justified width padding into a destination buffer that is large enough for the padding to succeed but too small for the internal memmove call. The field width or format may be attacker-influenced or a fixed susceptible pattern in the caller.
At the time of publication, no network-facing application impact is known.
CWE: CWE-122: Heap-based Buffer Overflow
CVSS Source: GNU C Library
CVSS Base score: 7.7
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-19542
DESCRIPTION: Calling tdelete on a sufficiently deep tree in the GNU C Library version 2.1 to 2.44 may write one pointer past the end of an alloca-allocated array on the stack, which may crash the application.
The tdelete implementation keeps an explicit stack of parent nodes for rebalancing, which is grown as needed while descending the tree. Two rebalancing branches push an additional entry without checking the capacity, and write past the array when the stack is exactly full. Triggering this requires a node at a depth of exactly 40 (or 40 plus a multiple of 20), which implies a tree with at least a million nodes, so an attacker must drive a large number of insertions and deletions through an application that uses tsearch and tdelete. The written value is a pointer into a tree node and is not directly attacker controlled. No affected application in common distributions has been identified.

CVEID: CVE-2026-6368
DESCRIPTION: Calling wordexp with WRDE_APPEND in the GNU C Library version 2.0 to version 2.43 can cause the interface to return invalid memory in the we_wordv member, which on subsequent calls to wordfree may abort the process.
CWE: CWE-908: Use of Uninitialized Resource

CVEID: CVE-2026-6791
DESCRIPTION: When expanding paths that begin with a tilde (~) followed by a username, the internal parse_tilde function extracts the username to determine the user's home directory. The implementation allocates memory for this username directly on the stack using the strndupa macro. Because the size of this allocation was determined by the length of the user-supplied input without any bounds checks, passing an excessively long username e.g. thousands of characters, forces the thread to exhaust its stack space. Thus if an application passes untrusted, attacker-controlled input to the wordexp function, an attacker can trigger a stack clash.

CVEID: CVE-2026-56391
DESCRIPTION: GNU coreutils uniq is vulnerable to an out‑of‑bounds read due to incorrect handling of multibyte input when the -w (--check-chars) option is used. The find_field() function miscalculates the byte length of characters by repeatedly processing a fixed pointer instead of advancing through the input, resulting in an inflated length value.
This incorrect length is later used in a memcmp operation, causing reads beyond the allocated buffer when processing crafted multibyte input.
When running GNU coreutils uniq with attacker-provided arguments, this behavior leads to a crash and potential adjacent heap memory exposure.
This issue has been fixed in the commit d64e35a8a4c0e4608321433e0d84d917e4e36371.

CVEID: CVE-2026-56392
DESCRIPTION: GNU coreutils unexpand is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow due to an integer overflow during buffer allocation when processing large tab stop (-t) values. The multiplication used to calculate the allocation size can wrap around, resulting in an undersized buffer.
When processing crafted input, subsequent writes exceed the allocated memory, leading to an out‑of‑bounds heap write.
When running GNU coreutils unexpand with attacker-provided large tab stop (-t) arguments, this behavior leads to a crash and potentially achieve a heap write primitive depending on memory layout.

CVEID: CVE-2026-104873
DESCRIPTION: LangGraph Python SDK is used to connect to running LangGraph API servers, manage assistants, threads and stream runs from Python applications. From 0.1.45 until 0.4.4, the langgraph-sdk resource-scoped authorization decorators @auth.on.threads, @auth.on.assistants, and @auth.on.crons ignore the actions argument and register the selected handler for every action on the resource. Because that wildcard resource handler is selected before broader fallback handlers, an authenticated user may bypass fallback action, ownership, or permission checks and read, update, or delete another user's resource. Only Python deployments using actions on the affected decorators are vulnerable, and a deployment remains protected when the selected handler independently enforces all required checks for every action it receives. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.4.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102268
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, is_pem_format in jwt/utils.py is affected because is_pem_format does not recognize every PEM representation accepted by the cryptography loader. This occurs when an application mixes HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and supplies a mutated public-key PEM as raw key bytes. As a result, HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key treats the unrecognized asymmetric public key as an HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated HMAC tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102266
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, HMACAlgorithm.from_jwk is affected because PyJWK verification path used the decoded key without applying prepare_key validation. This occurs when a trusted JWK Set contains an oct entry with an empty k value. As a result, an attacker signs an HMAC token with the same zero-length key accepted by PyJWT. Consequently, forged token can carry arbitrary authenticated claims. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102267
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT PyJWKClient is affected because redirect destinations are not revalidated against the JWKS trust boundary. This occurs when a configured trusted JWKS endpoint returns an attacker-influenced redirect. As a result, PyJWKClient follows the redirect and consumes the redirected response as key material. Consequently, forwarded credentials may be disclosed or verification keys may be substituted. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102271
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.4.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWT HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key is affected because asymmetric-key guard relies on textual markers that are absent from DER encoding. This occurs when an application mixes HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and supplies a DER public key as the shared verification key. As a result, PyJWT uses public DER bytes as an HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated HMAC tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102272
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key in jwt/algorithms.py is affected because raw-JWK detector does not normalize accepted Unicode byte-order marks before checking for JSON. This occurs when a public JWK is prefixed with a UTF-8 BOM and used in a mixed-algorithm verification path. As a result, public JWK bypasses asymmetric-key detection and becomes the HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102273
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWT HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key is affected because HMAC key guard only recognizes top-level public JWK forms and misses container representations. This occurs when an application allows HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and passes a public JWK container as the raw key. As a result, public asymmetric key material is accepted as the HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge a token with arbitrary authenticated claims. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-101917
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT get_signing_key_from_jwt is affected because unknown kid misses force refreshes without a negative cache or minimum refresh interval. This occurs when unauthenticated tokens repeatedly use the same unknown kid or varying kid values absent from the cached JWKS. As a result, each cache miss causes PyJWKClient to refresh the JWKS. Consequently, attacker traffic can amplify outbound requests to the configured JWKS endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-101918
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.0.0a1 until 2.15.0, PyJWT PyJWKClient.get_signing_key_from_jwt is affected because payload parser catches ValueError but not RecursionError. This occurs when an attacker-controlled recursively nested payload reaches json.loads. As a result, documented PyJWT exception handling does not contain the failure. Consequently, an unauthenticated request can raise an exception that may produce an HTTP 500 response. The advisory-defined affected implementation also includes jwt/api_jwt.py, verify_signature=False. This issue is fixed in version 2.15.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102265
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWS._load in jwt/api_jws.py is affected because parser catches ValueError but not RecursionError. This occurs when a deeply nested token header reaches json.loads. As a result, RecursionError escapes the documented PyJWT error hierarchy. Consequently, an unauthenticated malformed token can cause a request-level failure and HTTP 500. CVEID: CVE-2026-102269
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT signature segment is affected because signature segment decoding accepts characters outside the canonical Base64URL representation. This occurs when non-Base64URL characters are appended to a valid compact JWS signature segment. As a result, base64url_decode produces the same signature bytes for different serialized segments. Consequently, raw-token revocation checks can fail to recognize an equivalent modified token. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT is_pem_format is affected because lazy PEM regular expression backtracks extensively. This occurs when a certificate-like input contains repeated BEGIN markers without a matching END marker. As a result, is_pem_format performs unbounded backtracking while searching for a PEM end marker. Consequently, an attacker can cause intensive CPU consumption. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102274
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.9.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWKSet does not catch the plain ValueError raised for malformed RSA JWK components by RSAAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/api_jwk.py. This occurs when a JWK Set contains a malformed RSA key alongside otherwise usable keys. As a result, one malformed member aborts construction of the entire PyJWKSet. Consequently, applications can experience authentication failures or request-level denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-63349
DESCRIPTION: AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. In 4.14.0, AnyIO accepts the POSIX extra_groups argument in anyio.run_process() and anyio.open_process(), but open_process() forwards the group argument to the backend instead of extra_groups. A caller that supplies extra_groups=[] to clear inherited supplementary groups can therefore launch a child that retains the parent process groups, undermining a privilege-dropping boundary. If group is also supplied, the integer group value is passed where an iterable of supplementary groups is expected and the launch can fail with TypeError. This issue affects POSIX applications that rely on AnyIO subprocess helpers to launch less-privileged child processes. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2.

DESCRIPTION: AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. Prior to 4.14.2, connect_tcp() and TLSStream.wrap() can validate internationalized host names after the standard library converts them with IDNA 2003 instead of IDNA 2008. When a connection to a non-ASCII domain is hijacked or redirected, an attacker can obtain a legitimate certificate for the different ASCII hostname produced by IDNA 2003 and present it to the client, causing the malicious endpoint's certificate to validate. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2.

Disclaimer
According to the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) is an "industry open standard designed to convey vulnerability severity and help to determine urgency and priority of response." IBM PROVIDES THE CVSS SCORES ""AS IS"" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF ANY ACTUAL OR POTENTIAL SECURITY VULNERABILITY. In addition to other efforts to address potential vulnerabilities, IBM periodically updates the record of components contained in our product offerings. As part of that effort, if IBM identifies previously unidentified packages in a product/service inventory, we address relevant vulnerabilities regardless of CVE date. Inclusion of an older CVEID does not demonstrate that the referenced product has been used by IBM since that date, nor that IBM was aware of a vulnerability as of that date. We are making clients aware of relevant vulnerabilities as we become aware of them. "Affected Products and Versions" referenced in IBM Security Bulletins are intended to be only products and versions that are supported by IBM and have not passed their end-of-support or warranty date. Thus, failure to reference unsupported or extended-support products and versions in this Security Bulletin does not constitute a determination by IBM that they are unaffected by the vulnerability. Reference to one or more unsupported versions in this Security Bulletin shall not create an obligation for IBM to provide fixes for any unsupported or extended-support products or versions.
