Vulnerability Details
CVEID: CVE-2026-94002
DESCRIPTION: Possible memory exhaustion in SFTP clients (DefaultSftpClient) in component sshd-sftp in Apache MINA SSHD versions 0.9.0 to 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M1 to 3.0.0-M5.
Apache
MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH. The sshd-sftp component provides support for SFTP.
The SFTP client implementation, when receiving a reply, did not check that this reply corresponded to a request sent earlier. Unsolicited replies would be stored but never consumed. A malicious server could keep sending unsolicited replies until available memory in the client was exhausted.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.20.0 or 3.0.0-M6, which fix this issue.
CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling

CVEID: CVE-2026-94029
DESCRIPTION: Server-side memory exhaustion in Apache MINA SSHD 1.0.0 to 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M1 to 3.0.0-M5, component sshd-sftp, in the SFTP v6 check-file-name/check-file-handle extension. Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH.
Using a very small "block size" (for instance 256, which is the minimum) on a huge file generates many (file size / block size) hashes. The resulting SFTP reply message was accumulated fully in memory server-side, which could, with a suitably large (possibly sparse) file exhaust the server-side memory, taking down the server.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.20.0 or 3.0.0-M6, which fix this issue by imposing a maximum limit on the size of the reply. Many SFTP implementations have a general limit on the size of SFTP messages anyway; typically 256kB as in OpenSSH or also in Apache MINA SSHD.
CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling
CVSS Source: security@apache.org

CVEID: CVE-2026-87962
DESCRIPTION: t-digest versions 3.1 through 3.3 contain a denial of service vulnerability in MergingDigest.fromBytes that fails to validate length and capacity fields from serialized data. Attackers can supply crafted serialized digests with mismatched header fields to trigger ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException or NegativeArraySizeException, aborting the parsing thread.
CWE: CWE-1284: Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input
CVSS Source: disclosure@vulncheck.com

CVEID: CVE-2026-75516
DESCRIPTION: The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.34.0, AMQConnection.start() applies Math.min(maxInboundMessageBodySize, frameMax) after Connection.Tune negotiation even though AMQP defines frameMax value zero as unlimited and ConnectionFactory.DEFAULT_FRAME_MAX is zero. When the client default and server-negotiated value are both zero, the result is passed to Utils.framePayloadLimit(int), which interprets zero as Integer.MAX_VALUE and disables the configured maxInboundMessageBodySize cap. A malicious AMQP server, or a man-in-the-middle attacker able to modify Connection.Tune and inject frames into the connection, can then send an oversized frame of any frame type, causing Frame.readFrom() to allocate a large byte array before content-level validation and potentially terminate the client process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 5.34.0.

CVEID: CVE-2026-22746
DESCRIPTION: Vulnerability in Spring Spring Security. If an application is using the UserDetails#isEnabled, #isAccountNonExpired, or #isAccountNonLocked user attributes, to enable, expire, or lock users, then DaoAuthenticationProvider's timing attack defense can be bypassed for users who are disabled, expired, or locked. This issue affects Spring Security: from 5.7.0 through 5.7.22, from 5.8.0 through 5.8.24, from 6.3.0 through 6.3.15, from 6.5.0 through 6.5.9, from 7.0.0 through 7.0.4.

CVEID: CVE-2026-93687
DESCRIPTION: braces through 3.0.3 contains a stack overflow vulnerability in the recursive AST walkers that lack depth guards. Attackers can supply deeply nested brace patterns under the character limit to exhaust the call stack and terminate the Node.js process with an uncaught RangeError.
CWE: CWE-674: Uncontrolled Recursion

CVEID: CVE-2026-101917
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT get_signing_key_from_jwt is affected because unknown kid misses force refreshes without a negative cache or minimum refresh interval. This occurs when unauthenticated tokens repeatedly use the same unknown kid or varying kid values absent from the cached JWKS. As a result, each cache miss causes PyJWKClient to refresh the JWKS. Consequently, attacker traffic can amplify outbound requests to the configured JWKS endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-101918
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.0.0a1 until 2.15.0, PyJWT PyJWKClient.get_signing_key_from_jwt is affected because payload parser catches ValueError but not RecursionError. This occurs when an attacker-controlled recursively nested payload reaches json.loads. As a result, documented PyJWT exception handling does not contain the failure. Consequently, an unauthenticated request can raise an exception that may produce an HTTP 500 response. The advisory-defined affected implementation also includes jwt/api_jwt.py, verify_signature=False. This issue is fixed in version 2.15.0.
CWE: CWE-248: Uncaught Exception
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102265
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWS._load in jwt/api_jws.py is affected because parser catches ValueError but not RecursionError. This occurs when a deeply nested token header reaches json.loads. As a result, RecursionError escapes the documented PyJWT error hierarchy. Consequently, an unauthenticated malformed token can cause a request-level failure and HTTP 500. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-674: Uncontrolled Recursion
CVSS Source: security-advisories@github.com
CVSS Base score: 5.3
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102267
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT PyJWKClient is affected because redirect destinations are not revalidated against the JWKS trust boundary. This occurs when a configured trusted JWKS endpoint returns an attacker-influenced redirect. As a result, PyJWKClient follows the redirect and consumes the redirected response as key material. Consequently, forwarded credentials may be disclosed or verification keys may be substituted. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 9.1
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102268
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, is_pem_format in jwt/utils.py is affected because is_pem_format does not recognize every PEM representation accepted by the cryptography loader. This occurs when an application mixes HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and supplies a mutated public-key PEM as raw key bytes. As a result, HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key treats the unrecognized asymmetric public key as an HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated HMAC tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-347: Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature
CVSS Source: security-advisories@github.com
CVSS Base score: 9.1
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102269
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT signature segment is affected because signature segment decoding accepts characters outside the canonical Base64URL representation. This occurs when non-Base64URL characters are appended to a valid compact JWS signature segment. As a result, base64url_decode produces the same signature bytes for different serialized segments. Consequently, raw-token revocation checks can fail to recognize an equivalent modified token. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-180: Incorrect Behavior Order: Validate Before Canonicalize
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 5.4
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102270
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT is_pem_format is affected because lazy PEM regular expression backtracks extensively. This occurs when a certificate-like input contains repeated BEGIN markers without a matching END marker. As a result, is_pem_format performs unbounded backtracking while searching for a PEM end marker. Consequently, an attacker can cause intensive CPU consumption. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-1333: Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 4.9
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102271
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.4.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWT HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key is affected because asymmetric-key guard relies on textual markers that are absent from DER encoding. This occurs when an application mixes HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and supplies a DER public key as the shared verification key. As a result, PyJWT uses public DER bytes as an HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated HMAC tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-347: Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature
CVSS Source: security-advisories@github.com
CVSS Base score: 7.4
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102274
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.9.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWKSet does not catch the plain ValueError raised for malformed RSA JWK components by RSAAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/api_jwk.py. This occurs when a JWK Set contains a malformed RSA key alongside otherwise usable keys. As a result, one malformed member aborts construction of the entire PyJWKSet. Consequently, applications can experience authentication failures or request-level denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.
CWE: CWE-755: Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-102275
DESCRIPTION: PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.1.0 until 2.15.0, PyJWT OKPAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/algorithms.py is affected because private-JWK import path does not compare the public key derived from d with x. This occurs when an OKP private JWK supplies non-corresponding x and d components. As a result, identity derived from x can differ from operations performed with d. Consequently, if an integration also accepts private key parameters from a proof header without rejecting them, an attacker may use a stolen sender-constrained token without the legitimate private key. This issue is fixed in version 2.15.0.
CWE: CWE-345: Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 8.2
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-97687
DESCRIPTION: urllib3 is an HTTP client library for Python. From 1.26.0 until 2.8.0, the proxy_ssl_context, proxy_assert_hostname, proxy_assert_fingerprint, ssl_context, cert_reqs, verify_mode, use_forwarding_for_https=True, and CERT_NONE configuration paths fail to remain separated because target-server TLS settings are incorrectly applied to the HTTPS proxy connection. The trigger is that an application uses an HTTPS proxy and configures target-server TLS settings that must remain separate from the proxy TLS handshake, including HTTPS forwarding with target-specific identity or credentials. Applying cert_reqs=CERT_NONE can overwrite proxy_ssl_context.verify_mode in place, and the mutation persists so later connections reusing the same context may connect to the HTTPS proxy without certificate verification. The attack mechanism is that an attacker intercepts and impersonates the HTTPS proxy after the effective proxy policy accepts the attacker's certificate. The impact is that the attacker can observe or modify forwarded traffic or receive a target TLS client certificate, while CONNECT tunneling still preserves the separate end-to-end target TLS connection. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.0.
CWE: CWE-295: Improper Certificate Validation
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 8.1
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-97689
DESCRIPTION: urllib3 is an HTTP client library for Python. From 1.10.3 until 2.8.0, the HTTPResponse.read_chunked and HTTPResponse.stream methods can allocate unbounded memory because the streaming chunk parser buffers the chunk-size field until newline or EOF without a length bound. The trigger is that a malicious server returns Transfer-Encoding: chunked followed by a very long run of bytes without a newline. The attack mechanism is that a malicious HTTP server sends a very long unterminated chunk-size line. The impact is that unbounded memory allocation can exhaust the client process. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.0.
CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling

CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-77185
DESCRIPTION: Authentication bypass in sshd-core in Apache MINA SSHD versions 2.0.0 to 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M1 to 3.0.0-M5 for a certain (presumed rare) way to implement an SSH server.
Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client- and server-side SSH. In the server part of the library, a mechanism to perform "asynchronous authentication" exists. A server implemented with Apache MINA SSHD must contain explicit code to make use of this feature. The implementation of this feature was flawed and could potentially lead to skipping checking the signature in public-key or hostbased authentication, or returning a wrong result.
Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache MINA SSHD 2.20.0 or 3.0.0-M6, which fix the logic error and which additionally forbid the use of this "asynchronous authentication" mechanism with the public-key or hostbased authentication schemes: if used, the SSH session will be closed and the server will log an entry indicating that asynchronous authentication may be used only with password or keyboard-interactive authentication.
CWE: CWE-305: Authentication Bypass by Primary Weakness
CVSS Source: security@apache.org
CVSS Base score: 9.1
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-93994
DESCRIPTION: Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH. SSH servers can be configured to require multi-authentication schemes, for instance two different public keys, not just one. In OpenSSH, this would be done by setting in sshd_config AuthenticationMethods "publickey, publickey". Apache MINA SSHD provides an equivalent configuration mechanism.
In Apache MINA SSHD versions up to 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M1 to 3.0.0-M5 the server code in component sshd-core does not enforce that the two public keys presented are different. A user can thus successfully authenticate with only one of the two key pairs required by presenting this single key twice. This is a partial authentication bypass.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.20.0 or 3.0.0-M6, which fix this issue.
CWE: CWE-304: Missing Critical Step in Authentication

CVEID: CVE-2026-64607
DESCRIPTION: HttpClient based on the classic i/o model fails to correctly release the underlying connection back to the connection manager if it encounters an invalid or unsupported `Content-Encoding` header value in the response message. Please note this defect does not affect HttpClient based on the async i/o model.
This issue affects Apache HttpComponents Client: from 5.0-alpha1 through 5.6.2.
CWE: CWE-772: Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 5.3
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L)
CVEID: CVE-2026-71497
DESCRIPTION: jsoup is a Java library for working with real-world HTML. From 1.14.3 until 1.23.1, jsoup's HTML parser could incorrectly handle a malformed tag name ending in a control character, causing the tag to acquire the parsing behavior of a different element. When a custom Safelist permits certain raw-text elements, this misparsing can cause content that should remain inert text to be emitted as active markup after serialization, potentially resulting in cross-site scripting. jsoup's built-in Safelists are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1.

DESCRIPTION: Vulnerability in the JDBC component of Oracle Database Server. Supported versions that are affected are 19.3-19.31, 21.3-21.22 and 23.4.0-23.26.2. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with access to the physical communication segment attached to the hardware where the JDBC executes to compromise JDBC. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in JDBC, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all JDBC accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.6 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N).

CVEID: CVE-2026-84939
DESCRIPTION: Path traversal vulnerability in Apache FreeMarker template loading mechanism, if the attacker can specify an arbitrary malformed locale identifier to FreeMarker, and the localized lookup configuration setting is enabled (it's by default enabled).
This issue affects Apache FreeMarker from 2.2.0 through 2.3.34.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.3.35. Disabling localized lookup in previous versions also mitigates this.
Note that even in versions affected by this vulnerability, the files that can be loaded remain restricted by the TemplateLoader that FreeMarker is configured to use. In particular, FileTemplateLoader prevents attempts to traverse outside the baseDir specified in its constructor. Other TemplateLoader implementations may allow access outside their designated base directory, but they are still constrained by the underlying storage mechanism—for example, a loader wrapping a Java class loader can only access resources that the class loader can load, while one wrapping a web application context can only access resources available through that context.

CVEID: CVE-2026-102598
DESCRIPTION: Werkzeug is a comprehensive WSGI web application library. Prior to 3.1.9, the safe_join function used by send_from_directory can allow a NUL: special-device path because safe_join checks the Windows device name without first removing an empty NTFS ADS marker. The trigger is that an application runs on Windows with NTFS and serves a user-specified path ending in a special device name such as NUL:. The attack mechanism is that a requested path ends in a Windows special device name with an empty ADS marker. The impact is that the special device opens successfully and the file read hangs indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.9.

CVEID: CVE-2026-19879
DESCRIPTION: A flaw was found in Undertow, an HTTP server, within its HTTP response header writing path. The `writeString()` method performs a silent narrowing cast from 16-bit Unicode characters to 8-bit bytes when writing HTTP response header values. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying specific Unicode characters in user-controlled input that an application places into response headers. This can lead to the truncation of these characters into ASCII control characters or special symbols, potentially resulting in limited integrity impact or information disclosure if the application does not properly sanitize user input.

Disclaimer
According to the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) is an "industry open standard designed to convey vulnerability severity and help to determine urgency and priority of response." IBM PROVIDES THE CVSS SCORES ""AS IS"" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF ANY ACTUAL OR POTENTIAL SECURITY VULNERABILITY. In addition to other efforts to address potential vulnerabilities, IBM periodically updates the record of components contained in our product offerings. As part of that effort, if IBM identifies previously unidentified packages in a product/service inventory, we address relevant vulnerabilities regardless of CVE date. Inclusion of an older CVEID does not demonstrate that the referenced product has been used by IBM since that date, nor that IBM was aware of a vulnerability as of that date. We are making clients aware of relevant vulnerabilities as we become aware of them. "Affected Products and Versions" referenced in IBM Security Bulletins are intended to be only products and versions that are supported by IBM and have not passed their end-of-support or warranty date. Thus, failure to reference unsupported or extended-support products and versions in this Security Bulletin does not constitute a determination by IBM that they are unaffected by the vulnerability. Reference to one or more unsupported versions in this Security Bulletin shall not create an obligation for IBM to provide fixes for any unsupported or extended-support products or versions.
