Error description
Kafka: Error on Kafka End Session Service because of node switch
Local fix
Problem summary
Platforms Affected All platforms Users Affected All users Problem Description When a Kafka business process runs in a clustered environment, the Kafka End Session Service can fail if execution switches to a different node than the one that initiated the business process.
Problem conclusion
Resolution Summary This issue occurs in clustered environments when the Kafka business process is initiated on one node and the End Session Service executes on a different node. The product has been updated to incorporate NullPointerException (NPE) handling and time-to-live (TTL)-based cleanup activities to reclaim resources after the business process completes, preventing errors during session termination.
