Troubleshooting


Problem

After applying one of the PTF's in the next chart per release, QFileSvr.400 will not work and generate CPFA09C and CPD3E3F.

Symptom

After applying one of the PTF's in the next chart per release, QFileSvr.400 will not work and generate CPFA09C and CPD3E3F.

Cause

The PTF requires an IPL to activate.

Diagnosing The Problem

The trace shows that system <IP> responds to the Start Server request with the message: "Invalid Start Server Request"

ACS - Integrated File System works perfectly!

On system FDERC where customer took the STRTRC for QPWFSERVSO jobs, found message CPIAD07 - Host server error occurred with reason code &1.
But no reason code value.
 

Resolving The Problem

IPL of system is required if the PTF is installed.
