Abstract
IBM Semeru Runtime includes restricted security profiles used by Maximo Application Suite components operating in FIPS 140-2 mode. The applicable Semeru FIPS 140-2 restricted security profile reaches its sunset date on 21 September 2026.
At this time, any supported Maximo Application Suite installation running in FIPS mode should be considered affected, regardless of the MAS product version currently installed. This issue is related to the Semeru FIPS 140-2 restricted security configuration used by MAS rather than to a specific MAS release level.
