  • DESCRIPTION: When comparing a table that has implicitly hidden
columns and the source has user-visible columns reordered
relative to the hidden columns, Object Compare incorrectly
reports "No delta changes to process".

*                      when reordering columns in a table      *
*                      with implicitly hidden columns.         *

By default, Object Compare ignores the order of hidden
columns when comparing tables. Therefore, when comparing a table
that contains implicitly hidden columns with a source table
whose user-visible columns are ordered differently relative to
the hidden columns, Object Compare reports no changes.
Object Compare does not detect the column reordering and
therefore does not generate the required DROP and CREATE
statements.

This APAR adds an option to change this behavior:

New option in panel ADB2PCO:
Ignore hidden column order . . . . . NO (Yes/No. Default is Yes)

New Batch parameter for Compare:
IGNORE_HIDDEN_COLUMN_ORDER = Y/N
