Abstract

On 27 August 2026, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Operator patch 9.0.29. As with all patches, it is cumulative. In addition to the new fixes listed here, all fixes from earlier patches for this version are included.

This patch updates Manage to version 9.0.367.
This patch uses Graphite 2.13.684.

1. Log into Manage as an administrative user.
2. Go to the Database Configuration Application (System Configuration → Platform Configuration → Database Configuration).
3. In the More Actions section, click Messages.
4. Click the Filter icon.
5. Search for the message group: INVUSE, message key: toBinSameAsStagingBin
6. Click Enter.
7. Click View Details.
8. Edit the value details.
9. Add a new value:

The To Bin specified is the same as an existing staging or default staging bin. Select a different bin on the inventory usage line.

10. Click OK to save the message.

To add message, follow these steps:

1. Log into Manage as an administrative user.
2. Go to the Database Configuration Application (System Configuration → Platform Configuration → Database Configuration).
3. In the More Actions section, click Messages.
4. Click New Row and configure the following fields:

  • Message Group: asset
  • Message Key: cantaddnewattribute
  • Display Method: MSGBOX
  • Message ID Prefix: BMXAA
  • Message ID Suffix: E
  • Display ID: Checked
  • Button: OK (checked)
  • Value: Cannot add attribute "{0}" using Modify All. The attribute does not exist on the selected asset(s). To add an attribute, use the Classifications application.

5. When finished, click OK.

To add message, follow these steps:

1. Log into Manage as an administrative user.
2. Go to the Database Configuration Application (System Configuration → Platform Configuration → Database Configuration).
3. In the More Actions section, click Messages.
4. Click New Row and configure the following fields:

  • Message Group: asset
  • Message Key: valuefieldshouldnotnull
  • Display Method: MSGBOX
  • Message ID Prefix: BMXAA
  • Message ID Suffix: W
  • Display ID: Checked
  • Button: OK (checked)
  • Value: Value field cannot be empty. Enter a value for attribute "{0}" to continue.

5. When finished, click OK.
