Notes:
1. Quantum Scalar i7 RAPTOR support requires IBM Storage Protect version 8.2.0 or subsequent maintenance release.
2. On Microsoft Window, Scalar i7 RAPTOR Windows Library Driver or IBMTape Driver for Windows is required.
3. Quantum Scalar i7 RAPTOR Capacity
1 to 20 Full Height (FH) LTO Drives
100 to 2016 Storage Slots
0 to 56 I/E Station Slots
4. ELEMent=AUTODetect in the DEFINE/UPDATE DRIVE command is supported.
5. Barcodes are required.
6. Scalar i7 is available with the following full-height Fiber Channel drives:
7. Mixed-generation combinations of LTO-7 and LTO-8, or LTO-8 and LTO-9, drives and media are supported.

10. Quantum Scalar i7 RAPTOR supports IBM Control Path Failover Support for Tape Libraries, and IBM Data Path Failover and Load Balancing Support for Tape Drives with Fiber Channel drives and the following drivers:
- IBM Atape Driver for AIX: Atape 14.1.1.0 or later
- IBMTape Driver for Windows x64: IBMTape 7.0.1.6 or later
- IBM lin_tape Driver for Linux x64: IBM lin_tape 3.0.71 or later
11. The IBM device driver is required for the IBM Ultrium drives. IBM device drivers are available at IBM Fix Central. Choose the following options from the drop-down menus.
- Product Group -> System Storage
- System Storage -> Tape systems
- Tape systems -> Tape drivers and software
- Tape drivers and software -> Tape device drivers
- Platform -> select device driver for your platform
