Vulnerability Details
CVEID: CVE-2026-15043
DESCRIPTION: DBI::SQL::Nano versions from 1.42 before 1.651 for Perl have inverted = and = SQL operators on text.
DBI::SQL::Nano, DBI's built-in mini-SQL engine, evaluated WHERE predicates incorrectly in some cases. In the non-numeric string branch of the is_matched method, = was evaluated using Perl's ge operator, and = was evaluated using Perl's le operator.
SQL::Nano is the fallback query engine for DBI's file-backed drivers (DBD::File, DBD::DBM, CSV-style drivers) whenever SQL::Statement is not installed, and is forced whenever DBI_SQL_NANO=1. Queries over such tables use these predicates directly.
The impact depends on the context. Where an application relies on a WHERE clause to filter file-backed data for policy or authorization, an inverted =/= comparison silently returns the wrong rows.
CWE: CWE-480: Use of Incorrect Operator
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 9.8
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-15392
DESCRIPTION: DBD::File versions before 1.651 for Perl do not ensure the table file is not a symlink to an untrusted location.
The complete_table_name method builds the absolute table file path without checking whether the file is a symbolic link. A link inside the data directory can point to a table file at any path outside of the configured f_dir and f_dir_search directories.
Callers of file-based drivers can read or write files outside of the data directory.
CWE: CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal')
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 7.7
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-59888
DESCRIPTION: jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. From 2.15.0 until 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4, Java Records using a PropertyNamingStrategy can bypass @JsonIgnore because POJOPropertiesCollector._removeUnwantedIgnorals() records an ignored component under its original implicit name before _renameUsing() applies the naming strategy, allowing the renamed JSON key to be assigned to the Record constructor parameter. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4.
CWE: CWE-915: Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes
CVSS Source: security-advisories@github.com
CVSS Base score: 6.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-59889
DESCRIPTION: jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. From 2.18.0 until 2.18.9, 2.21.5, 2.22.1, 3.1.5, and 3.2.1, UnwrappedPropertyHandler.processUnwrapped() replays buffered JSON for a @JsonUnwrapped property and calls prop.deserializeAndSet() without a prop.visibleInView(ctxt.getActiveView()) guard, allowing a property annotated with both @JsonView and @JsonUnwrapped to be written from attacker JSON under a less-privileged active view. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.9, 2.21.5, 2.22.1, 3.1.5, and 3.2.1.
CWE: CWE-863: Incorrect Authorization
CVSS Source: security-advisories@github.com
CVSS Base score: 6.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-60081
DESCRIPTION: DBI::ProfileData versions before 1.651 for Perl do not limit the path index.
The path index column of profile dump files is used to allocate an array of data for the parser. An unbounded value allows an attacker to specify a large index and consume available memory.
CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-66142
DESCRIPTION: Apache Neethi is vulnerable to uncontrolled recursion when parsing policies that lack policy Ids or with deeply nested structures, which may lead to a denial of service attack when parsing policies due to runtime memory exhaustion. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.3, which fixes this issue.
CWE: CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-66143
DESCRIPTION: It is possible to bypass the maximum number of normalized policy alternatives that was introduced in Apache Neethi 3.2.2 via certain crafted policies, which may lead to a denial of service attack via resource consumption. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.3, which fixes this issue.
CWE: CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-66144
DESCRIPTION: Although remote policy references are not retrieved during policy normalization, if they are manually retrieved via the API it can cause a denial of service attack if a huge policy is retrieved. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.3, which fixes this issue by imposing a default maximum size on data read from remote policy references.
CWE: CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-13006
DESCRIPTION: ACE vulnerability in conditional configuration file processing by QOS.CH logback-core up to and including version 1.5.36 in Java applications, allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code circumventing existing protections against CVE-2025-11226 by compromising an existing logback configuration file or by injecting an environment variable before program execution.
A successful attack requires the presence of Janino library to be present on the user's class path. In addition, the attacker must have write access to a
configuration file. Alternatively, the attacker could inject a malicious
environment variable pointing to a malicious configuration file. In both
cases, the attack requires existing privilege.
Please note that in logack version 1.5.37 conditional processing using Janino was removed.
CWE: CWE-20: Improper Input Validation
CVSS Source: vulnerability@ncsc.ch
CVSS Base score: 7
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N/E:X/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/MVI:X/MVA:X/MSC:X/MSI:X/MSA:X/S:P/AU:N/R:X/V:X/RE:M/U:Green)
CVEID: CVE-2026-57433
DESCRIPTION: Storable versions before 3.41 for Perl have a signed integer overflow when deserializing a crafted SX_HOOK record.
retrieve_hook_common reads a signed 32-bit item count from an SX_HOOK record and calls av_extend with that count plus one. A count of I32_MAX wraps the addition to a negative value.
A crafted blob passed to thaw or retrieve triggers the overflow; av_extend receives the negative count and dies with a panic, terminating the deserialization.
CWE: CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 9.8
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-9828
DESCRIPTION: Deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability in QOS.CH Sarl logback logback-core (HardenedObjectInputStream (logback-core) modules) allows Object Injection albeit heavily restricted.
More precisely, an attacker able to influence serialized data sent to
SimpleSocketServer or SimpleSSLSocketServer can instantiate objects from
classes in the java.lang and java.util packages that are not explicitly
blocked.
Although deserialization is heavily restricted by HardenedObjectInputStream and no
practical way to achieve remote code execution or significant privilege
escalation has been identified, this issue constitutes a bypass of the
intended security restrictions.
This issue affects logback: through 1.5.32 inclusive.
CWE: CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data
CVSS Source: vulnerability@ncsc.ch
CVSS Base score: 2.9
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N/E:P/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/MVI:X/MVA:X/MSC:X/MSI:X/MSA:X/S:X/AU:X/R:X/V:X/RE:L/U:Green)
CVEID: CVE-2026-49844
DESCRIPTION: Improper encoding of non-finite floating-point values during MapMessage JSON serialization in Apache Log4j API produces output that is not valid JSON. This issue affects Apache Log4j API versions 2.13.1 through 2.25.4 and version 2.26.0.
The fix for CVE-2026-34481 did not cover all code paths: when a MapMessage contains a non-finite IEEE 754 value (NaN, Infinity, or -Infinity), MapMessage.asJson() emits the corresponding bare token. RFC 8259 does not permit these tokens, so a conformant parser rejects the resulting document.
The defect is reachable only when both of the following conditions hold:
* The application uses the message resolver https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/json-template-layout.html#e… of JsonTemplateLayout or any other layout that relies on MapMessage.asJson() or MapMessage.getFormattedMessage(new String[]{"JSON"}).
* The application logs a MapMessage that contains an attacker-controlled floating-point value.
An attacker who can supply a non-finite value can cause the affected layout to emit malformed JSON, which may corrupt the enclosing log record or disrupt downstream log ingestion and parsing.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j API 2.25.5 or 2.26.1, both of which emit RFC 8259-compliant JSON for non-finite values.
CWE: CWE-116: Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 5.9
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-10532
DESCRIPTION: Deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability in QOS.CH Sarl logback logback-core (HardenedObjectInputStream (logback-core) modules) allows Object Injection, albeit heavily restricted.
More precisely, an attacker able to influence serialized data sent to
SimpleSocketServer or SimpleSSLSocketServer can instantiate Proxy objects.
Although deserialization is heavily restricted by HardenedObjectInputStream and no
practical way to achieve remote code execution or significant privilege
escalation has been identified, this issue constitutes a bypass of the
intended security restrictions.
This issue affects logback: through 1.5.33 inclusive.
CWE: CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data
CVSS Source: vulnerability@ncsc.ch
CVSS Base score: 2.9
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N/E:P/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/MVI:X/MVA:X/MSC:X/MSI:X/MSA:X/S:X/AU:X/R:X/V:X/RE:M/U:Green)
CVEID: CVE-2026-14380
DESCRIPTION: DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl are vulnerable to code injection via caller-influenced Profile.
When a string is assigned to a DBI handle's Profile attribute, DBI splits it into path, package and arguments, and interpolates the package part in a string eval with no validation of the package name.
Any caller-influenced value that reaches the Profile attribute is therefore arbitrary Perl code execution, including calls to run system commands.
The Profile attribute can be set from three different sources that can carry untrusted data: the DBI_PROFILE environment variable, a direct attribute assignment, and a DSN driver-attribute clause dbi:Driver(Profile=SPEC):db.
An attacker controlling any of those inputs runs arbitrary Perl in the host process. The strongest remote position is a network-exposed DBI::Gofer / DBI::ProxyServer whose per-request DSN reaches the Profile attribute, letting a client execute code on the broker host.
CWE: CWE-95: Improper Neutralization of Directives in Dynamically Evaluated Code ('Eval Injection')
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 8.8
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-14739
DESCRIPTION: DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl have a heap overflow when preparsing SQL statements with an extreme number of placeholders.
The fix for CVE-2026-10879 did not allocate enough memory to handle approximately 1.2-million placeholders.
DBI version 1.650 sets a hard limit of 99,999 placeholders.
CWE: CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write
CVSS Source: CISA ADP
CVSS Base score: 9.8
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2026-10051
DESCRIPTION: In Eclipse Jetty, a first HTTP/1.1 request with trailers causes the server to retain the trailers in subsequent requests performed over the same connection.
Subsequent request that do not have trailers report the trailers of the first request.
Subsequent request that do have trailers report the union of trailers of the first request and the current request.
CWE: CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor
CVSS Source: NVD
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-6790
DESCRIPTION: In Eclipse Jetty, for HTTP/1, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 requests, there is no strict check that the request authority (host and port) matches what provided in the Host header (if present).
This was not enforced in earlier HTTP RFC (for example, in RFC 2616), but it is in the latest RFC (9110 and 9112).
This mismatch can cause a number of problems that may be classified as vulnerabilities such as:
*
URI constructions (for example, for redirects -- this is typical for login pages)
*
Virtual host selection
*
Reverse proxying
*
Misleading logs
*
Etc.
Given that the latest RFCs require that request authority and Host header must match, Jetty should enforce this invariant.
CWE: CWE-20: Improper Input Validation
CVSS Source: emo@eclipse.org
CVSS Base score: 5.3
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2026-8384
DESCRIPTION: In Eclipse Jetty, an HTTP URI of this form:
/public;/../admin/secret.txt
results in an unresolved path of:
/public/../admin/secret.txt
instead of the expected:
/admin/secret.txt
Jetty itself is not affected, as it will not serve the secret.txt file because it will not pass the alias checker (only resolved resources are served).
However, web applications that rely on resolved paths being provided by Jetty may be confused when receiving an unresolved path.
CWE: CWE-647: Use of Non-Canonical URL Paths for Authorization Decisions
CVSS Source: emo@eclipse.org
CVSS Base score: 5.3
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N)

According to the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) is an "industry open standard designed to convey vulnerability severity and help to determine urgency and priority of response." IBM PROVIDES THE CVSS SCORES ""AS IS"" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF ANY ACTUAL OR POTENTIAL SECURITY VULNERABILITY. In addition to other efforts to address potential vulnerabilities, IBM periodically updates the record of components contained in our product offerings. As part of that effort, if IBM identifies previously unidentified packages in a product/service inventory, we address relevant vulnerabilities regardless of CVE date. Inclusion of an older CVEID does not demonstrate that the referenced product has been used by IBM since that date, nor that IBM was aware of a vulnerability as of that date. We are making clients aware of relevant vulnerabilities as we become aware of them. "Affected Products and Versions" referenced in IBM Security Bulletins are intended to be only products and versions that are supported by IBM and have not passed their end-of-support or warranty date. Thus, failure to reference unsupported or extended-support products and versions in this Security Bulletin does not constitute a determination by IBM that they are unaffected by the vulnerability. Reference to one or more unsupported versions in this Security Bulletin shall not create an obligation for IBM to provide fixes for any unsupported or extended-support products or versions.
