Local fix
Restart initiators, or make sure that no WOLA clients are active before shutting the server down.
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An ABEND 0C4 occurs during server * * shutdown when a WOLA client is * * active. Subsequent WOLA Register * * requests fail. * **************************************************************** The abend is because the server freed some storage that is still being used by the client. The abend causes the deletion of a name token to be skipped. The name token still being there causes the client register to fail.
Problem conclusion
Updated the code to not free the storage when a client is still active. The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack WebSphere Liberty 26.0.0.7. For more information, see 'Recommended Updates for WebSphere Application Server': https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/715553
