The purpose of this technical document is to show all the steps to perform the following
tasks for IBM MQ in a Linux x86 64-bit machine (Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL 9.8), using
rpm:
- Installing MQ 10.0.0.0, which is the same for Long Term Support (LTS) and Continuous
Delivery (CD) - Uninstalling MQ 10.0.0.0
Notes:
Even though this tutorial was written for MQ 10.0, the same principles apply to all
versions, release types (LTS/CD) and fix packs.
The steps apply also to the queue manager and/or client components.
The same principles apply to the installation and uninstallation of the MQ 10.0 Continuous
Delivery (CD).
