SYSIBMADM.QIBM_SQEDEBUG_BY_DAYS global variable

News

Abstract

The QIBM_SQEDEBUG_BY_DAYS global variable indicates the number of days to keep integrated file system (IFS) directories that were created by the SQL query engine that contain debug information primarily for use by IBM service.

This global variable controls removal of directories that the SQL query engine writes within the /QIBM/UserData/OS400/SQE directory. To prevent accumulation of data in this directory, Db2 for i will automatically remove (or prune) directories and their contents based on the value of the QIBM_SQEDEBUG_BY_DAYS global variable. The /QIBM/UserData/OS400/SQE and /QIBM/UserData/OS400/SQE/ERRORS directories are not removed. The age of a directory is based on the value of the OBJECT_CHANGE_TIMESTAMP column returned by QSYS2.IFS_OBJECT_STATISTICS.
