PH71882: EYU9XEUT UTILITY DISPLAYS INCORRECT DATA FOR LOCK HOLDER AND WAITER DETAILS.

Error description

• The LOCKS report generated by the EYU9XEUT utility displays
  incorrect (garbled) data for the lock holder and waiter fields
  when executed against older versions of ESSS (CPSM 6.2 and 6.1)
  as shown below:

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the CICS TS 6.3 EYU9XEUT           *
  *                      utility is executed against an older    *
  *                      CPSM ESSS version (6.2 and lower)       *
  *                      using the DUMP LOCKS option, the        *
  *                      holder and waiter names display as      *
  *                      garbled characters, and the method      *
  *                      names show incorrect data. The utility  *
  *                      attempts to use control block fields    *
  *                      that do not exist in the older ESSS     *
  *                      format, resulting in invalid values     *
  *                      being formatted.                        *

  The method for storing the lock holder/waiter address space and
  method names was changed in CICSPlex SM 6.3. As a result the 6.3
  EYU9XEUT utility can no longer access these fields.
  

Problem conclusion

• When the 6.3 EYU9XEUT utility is run against an earlier CICSPlex
  SM ESSS version, it will no longer print the lock holder or
  waiter address space name or method owning name.
