Abstract
This session will be an introduction and overview of the IBM Diamondback Tape Library and how it is transforming the implementation and transformation of cost-effective storage at scale.
It will also provide how the Deep Archive extension to the Diamondback fundamentally changes how applications can adopt tape and all of the benefits of tape, without needing to expand its interfaces to include tape specific tape controls.
