Major Features & Enhancements
Continuous, closed-loop planning process
• Publish optimized scenarios to a global investment plan
• Generate intervention work orders directly form the investment plan
• Re-optimize and continuously refine investment strategies
Support for large asset populations
• Leverage Maximo Queries to add large populations of assets to AIP strategies
• Execute optimizations as background processes to dramatically improve performance
Link job plans to intervention templates
• Select a Job Plan to automatically reflect the costs in the intervention template and the downstream optimization
• Job Plan will then be linked to the downstream work order
Favoriting and custom scenario names
• Favorite scenarios of interest
• Provide user-defined names to optimized scenarios
Improved handling of Inflation, Discounting, and Investment Rates
• System parameters now manage these fiscal values individually and are customizable
General usability improvements
• Weibull curve improvements, including ability to display CDF, PDF, or hazard function
• Pre-optimization validation to ensure necessary data is in place, and provide feedback to the user in the event of validation failures
• Content updates to streamline the user flow. “Strategic Plans” have been renamed “Strategies”

known issue:
When a customer has environment setup with mas core + manage + Optimizer without AIP as an addon, then under manage workspace two pods will appear aipoptimization-uninstall and it will be in error status. Even though these pods are in error status it does not have any functional impact on manage or optimizer.
The fix has been identified and will be delivered in upcoming July 9.2 patch.
