Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT
Action is required if and only if the (long-deprecated) AJAX Proxy installable application is deployed. This is believed to be an extremely uncommon configuration.
The AJAX Proxy has two deployment models, the WAR file provided in <WAS_HOME>/installableApps/AjaxProxy.war can be directly installed (deployed) or embedded in your application EAR file.
In either case, the AjaxProxy web module must be updated and re-deployed. This can be done via the WebSphere Administration Console or via the AdminApp.update task.
More information about the AJAX proxy is available here: https://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/webserver/appserv/library/v85/85528_WAS_web2mobile-ajaxproxy-runtime-help.pdf
