This article explains how to permanently delete an IBM Video Streaming account. It outlines the required steps to remove an account, including confirming the deletion and verifying ownership through the account email address. The article also highlights the importance of canceling any active paid subscriptions before deleting the account to avoid continued billing.
Deleting Your IBM Video Streaming Account
You can delete your IBM Video Streaming account from your account page.
Note: If your account is still active on a paid subscription, cancel the subscription before deleting the account. Deleting an active account does not cancel the subscription, and charges may continue until the subscription is cancelled.
Delete Your Account
- Log in to your IBM Video Streaming account.
- Once logged in, click the Delete Account button in the bottom-right corner of the page.
- Review the first confirmation window.
- Click Delete Account again to continue.
- Enter the email address associated with your account when prompted.
- Click Delete Account to finish the process.
Your account is now deleted.
Additional Notes
If you delete an IBM Video Streaming account and later create a new account, please be aware that plan features may change between signup periods.
