Abstract
The technote provides guidance on which JRE can be used when installing, upgrading, or running IBM Content Cortex components.
Content
IBM Content Cortex does not provide a JRE in the traditional installers. Instead, the customer must supply their own JRE. This technote provides links to specific instructions for each release that provide guidance on which JRE can be used when installing, upgrading, or running the following components:
- Content Platform Engine, including the Configuration Manager
- Content Search Services, including the CSS tools
- Content Cortex Java and .Net API
- Content Cortex GraphQL API, including the Configuration and Deployment tool
- Content Cortex CM8 Compatibility API
- Content Cortex AI Services and Tools
- Content Engine Bulk Import Tool
- FileNet Deployment Manager (FDM)
- Workflow tools: Process Designer, Process Administrator, Process Configuration Console, vwtool, and pelog
